Sunday Afternoon w/No Kids Home

This is how we spend our leisure time...

AlbUquerque

Do you know how hard that is to spell? It took me a long time to catch on. So I just got back from Albuquerque watchin my basketball team at the T-Mobile Invitational. My friend Kandace and I are die hard fans, and basically the only ones, besides parents and family, who made the 10 hour journey to watch. Best trip ever...We took

second, and I was let down, until I realized that they put up a really good fight to the number one team in the nation losing only by 9. Kandace and I even made national tv for a few seconds at the end of the first game. It's so hard being famous...

What the heck.

So I wrote my very first comment and then it showed up as kendall and landon writing it! Did I mention I'm new to this? I am so confused. Hopefully this is me, berit green, writing this.

Aceman Video

This is Cort. Not Shalaine. I'm just too lazy to log out of her account and into mine. Anyway, I going to try and upload a video of Axel waking up. If it doesn't work, it's on You Tube. Search Axel, or Cort Green, and you should be able to find it. Also, check out the Hendrickson's blog for video of the comedian Shalaine and I saw our first night out away from Axel on Friday night. There are clips of the side of the Hendrickson blog. He's pretty funny.

"I Loves Harpo"

MY FIRST BLOG POST!!!!

Today my friend Dane came to town. We went to FAO Shwarz and saw the big piano from the movie Big. These two toy store workers were putting on a show. Their only job is to perform songs on the piano for the tourists. My first thought was- How do I get that job. But then I realized how super cheesy they were when they started posing while they were dancing on the piano and telling everyone to take pictures of them. I could imagine them practicing their routine over and over all night. They were eating up the fame. I was mad because they were taking up the whole piano and I thought I could do much better then them. All they could play were Heart and Soul and Chopsticks. Watch me give Chopin a spin on that thing! Anyway, we didn't try it because the line was humongous by the time the demo was done, and I got really angry about the tourists (which happens quite often). So instead we went to the Harry Potter section and tried on hats.

Tonight my friends and I went and saw The Color Purple on Broadway. You may have heard of it... it's an Oprah Winfrey production. This is Fantansia Barrino, our very own American Idol, singing her little heart out. I was skeptical of it at first, because I feel like Oprah often overreacts about things and then everyone freaks out about them too. But it actually was really good. There was a lot of soul in the house... I'm talking about "soul grunts" (as Rauna has tagged them) and amens from members of the audience during particularly moving songs. I would have to rate this play at least a PG-13 though, just so those of you with small children know. The best thing about it is it's full of black people, so we know the singing and dancing is good.

In the green bean casserole!

where have all the green beans gone?

I feel the need to clear the air here and ease your minds that I am not currently stalking Berit. I do not know what she is wearing today, I have no idea what she ate for breakfast, and I was nowhere near her shower this morning. Just in case the reason no one has posted for a couple of days is because I scared them off with my creepy haiku. I love Berit in a just as a sister should love another sister totally plutonic sort of way. Besides, Jesus is more my speed.
