Super Bowl Sunday...and NO Church

Yes...they canceled church today. We got about 14" of snow this morning and I guess they decided it was too dangerous for us to walk across the street. You can see how disappointed we were. The word from the old-timers is this is the most accumulation we've had in Alpine in 25 years. So we hunkered down and did "projects". Berit actually went to a Super Bowl party with a bunch of her friends. Mom and I sat on the bed (as usual) and worked on photo albums. Now...if we just don't take anymore pictures for the rest of our lives, we'll be able to stay up to date!

A true Californian right there....flip flops in the snow! Love it.

That snow is insane. Axel says it looks way too cold to come visit and that 75 degree palm springs is more his style in February.

Actually, survey came today....to both of the nursing homes. It's a cruel joke to put both facilities in survey the same week given that we share a lot of staff between the two buildings. Anyway, pray that all goes well this week for me. If it does, we should be able to schedule a trip up there in the next few weeks. If you guys think the last week in February would work best, that should work for us too. Can't wait.

That looks MISERABLE! And here I am whinning about our windy day, light sprinkling, and 66 degree weather on Sunday. We'll send you pictures in August of us frying an egg on our driveway and all our dead flowers and you can brag about how glad you are to be Utah.
