THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR DAY!
We're in the hard season in Utah when the snow is on the ground, it's very cold and gray, and we need some sunshine in our lives...and this is it! The best part is, when there's a new video, then we sit and watch all the old ones and laugh and get teary-eyed. What a cute kid...and so mellow and happy!(even with Cort's baby-bathing skills :)
We love you guys...kiss that boy lots for us...
Sorry the D-land video isn't more exciting. I had grand plans for all the pictures and video I was going to take for his first trip to the happiest place on earth. Axel holding a big Mikey baloon, Axel laughing as he rounds the corner on his first ride, Axel smilling as he sits atop Goofy's shoulders, and Axel dancing and singing as he watches the electrical parade. But, alas, this was not to be. Being a single parent at Disneyland, pushing a stroller, carrying a baby, trying not to run over wee children, breastfeeding (there's a lovely little story about Axel deciding he was done nursing on the Alice in Wonderland ride just as it came out of the building and rounded the corner directly over an eager and innocent crowd of little children and their parents), AND taking pictures was a little more challenging than I had imagined. Thus, the only video and pictures I have of the day are when we first entered the park. Oh well.
p.s. I'm soooo embarassed of my non-stop critical annoying voice while my dear sweet husband is doing much more than most husbands and giving our little one that he loves so dearly a bath. How obnoxious I am. I want you to know that I apologized profusely over the course of several days following that video! And that I truly think that Cort is the absolute best husband, father, and bather on earth!
Yeah! More Ace Man Video's! We love our Axel, and man those Disney shots are amazing. :-)

I noticed that you didn't say that Cort is the BEST "reader of trivia cards" and/or "holder of the timer."

Re: your "non-stop critical annoying voice", while going through old videos lately to make a DVD for Beau's birthday, I was shocked at all the negative comments I was continually making while shooting all the videos of our kids growing up. "Cort, get out of the shot! I'm trying to film Jordan!" etc. So, you got nothin' on me...
